About us

Our company was founded by Jordan Sykes and Andy Fitzsimmons after they met while studying Forest Science at the University of Alberta. They saw a need for better tree care in the city—focused on long-term planning and working with trees rather than against them. Combining their hands-on skills as arborists with their understanding of tree biology, they started the company in 2022. Since then, City Tree Service has grown by finding like-minded professionals who share the same passion for trees.
