When can I prune my Elm Tree in Edmonton?

Elm trees are allowed to be pruned between October 1st and March 31st in the City of Edmonton as per the city bylaw. There are exceptions for storm damaged branches or high risk branches that need to be removed immediately. Elm trees can be removed year-round.
